American Eagle
Dating back to 2013, Universal Custom Display (UCD) has been a preferred vendor partner for wood and acrylic store fixtures/displays within our retail spaces. These programs (national rollouts to inventory replenishment) have been executed without flaw from both a domestic, as well as, import platform. Blending programs both domestically and import has allowed American Eagle/Aerie to mitigate short lead-time constraints while taking advantage of substantially lower import costs. UCD manages very effectively the balance between the two options and the quality consistency between the two has been exceptional. UCD is truly a valued partner.

I was fortunate in that Universal Custom Display was a See’s Candies vendor when I joined See’s back in 2011. My mission was to expand See’s Candies by doubling the amount of shops throughout the country back in 2011. I knew then that I would need a strong team of excellent and top performing vendors to accomplish our goals. Although our company’s expansion plans were tweaked, I still managed the construction of over 80 new See’s Candy Shops and heavily depended on the professionalism and accuracy of UCD during the past ten years. Working with Curtis on our new-build kitchen was a true pleasure. After listening to our lifestyle needs and considering our budget, he created a dream kitchen worthy of admiration. Over the past few years, Universal Custom Display (UCD) has provided Harbor Freight Tools (HFT) great service and an exceptional product. UCD has been the exclusive supplier of our cash counter checkout stands and has met the quality standards as well as hit our delivery deadlines on every occasion. HFT continues to grow at an amazing pace, opening over 100 new stores a year (500-600+ checkout stands annually), as well as completing numerous remodels/special projects, and we could not do that without the support of our vendors, including UCD. As we look into opening 150 new stores in fiscal year 2022, UCD will be a key vendor we will turn to, to support HFT in its continued growth.

This was a very demanding project (SMUD Corporate Headquarters, Sacramento, CA.) in terms of both quality and schedule. Extensive millwork/casework project encompassing 5 floors of break room/conference room kitchens and coffee bars to walnut veneer perimeter paneling, to a 40’ curved solid walnut and quartz top boardroom Dias. Also a full Security Station to go with multiple white oak slatted perimeter wall design features (floor to ceiling), to several thousand feet of custom laminated metal baseboard. Not only did UCD produce the product, they also handled the installation. Your performance and dedication to the project helped us to meet these demands and turn over a very successful project to a very satisfied owner.
